IGeno

IGeno is an application developed by group of students (ahmed almajrafi, mazin aladhali, masoud kashoob, mohammed almaktoumi, asaad alhabsi) from collage of medicine and health sciences at Sultan Qaboos University. This application provide information about genet genetic disorders. The main page of the app consists of its logo at the top, three quick icons in the bottom and five main icons. The background icon provides an introduction to the genetic disorders which provide better understanding of the app contents. The contents icon is the main material of the app and it consists of more than 15 genetic disorders. The contact information and the names of the developers were provided in the Contact Us icon. The technical information and information of how to use the app was written in the I Want Help icon. All the references which were use in the app were cited in the references icon. The Family Check icon is providing information of the genes and the chance of being effected with any genetic disorder. The Links icon allows the users to contact the developers through the social media website (facebook and twitter). Finally, users can test their knowledge by 5 quizzes provided by the Test icon. I hope this app will add more information about genetic disorders.

Googl Drive

 

Google Drive is a free services enables the users to save what they want like, documents, photos, videos, etc. online. Which mean, the user can enter to the fill from anywhere around the glop. By this application, any team can open one document, spreadsheet, presentations and all members can work together in one time, they can add or edit on the same doc. Also, the user can make the files more collaborative by creating and replying to comments to get feedback. Google Drive is a good application for students groups who want their process of doing the projects more easy. This app will allow them to meet any time without needing for physically present. Personally, I use it in many of my projects and it makes my life easier especially in term of time. I hope all of you have the chance to try it.

Oman top level domain (.om)

What is .om?

The .om web name is the internet code for Oman. More specifically, it is country code top-level domain. The .om domain has been around since 1996. With population around three million in Oman, These domains with the .om extension are very popular in the country and around its geographical area. Google nose

A few weeks ago, exactly in the first of April, and when I was browsing Google, there was a choice in the search list caught my eye which is (Nose). Of course this choice aroused curiosity in myself, so I clicked in the button, and I found that it is a services from Google enable users to sniff more than fifteen million scent such as, Flowers, Food, Animals, etc. by potting your nose in the screen.

For sure, I started to put my nose in the screen. In the first time I didn't sniff anything. I tried for the second time and like the first trial, I didn't sniff any things. I tried more than five time, but soon I felt I was stupide because all my friends around me loving and they said why you are delving like the chicken!!!! 

After that, one of my friends told me this service is the "April Fool" from Google. It was really funny and forested situation.
